The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency will host a Disaster Preparedness Day event Saturday, June 13, in Flowood.
The event will be held at Lowe’s, located at 120 Ridge Way in Flowood.
MEMA said the event is designed to help residents learn how to prepare for storms and emergencies.
Attendees will also be able to connect with local preparedness resources.
MEMA is encouraging residents to stay prepared as severe weather and emergency situations can happen quickly.
