The Mississippi State Fire Academy is notifying the public about a planned training exercise scheduled for this afternoon.
According to the academy, the exercise will involve a TECC class and Ridgeland SWAT.
Officials said the training may include flash bangs and simulated gunshots.
The academy said the activity is only an exercise and there is no cause for alarm.
