JACKSON – A second person has been arrested in connection with a May shooting at a Jackson nightclub that left a 19-year-old woman dead and two others seriously injured.
According to the Jackson Police Department, officers responded Saturday, May 16, to The Hideaway Night Club in the 5100 block of Interstate 55 North after a shooting in the parking lot.
Police said 19-year-old Alana Duck was killed in the shooting, and two other people were seriously injured.
An investigation by JPD’s Robbery/Homicide Unit led to the arrest of 17-year-old Terrell Baldridge. He was charged with murder and two counts of aggravated assault. His initial appearance was held May 29 in municipal court, where he was denied bond.
On June 4, JPD Robbery/Homicide detectives arrested 20-year-old Oshea Morris. Police said Morris was charged with accessory after the fact. His initial appearance was held Friday, June 5, and he was also denied bond.
The investigation remains ongoing.
