HATTIESBURG – The Hattiesburg Fire Department is bringing back Summer Splash Days, starting Wednesday, June 4, at Tatum Park.
The free event will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Fire crews will bring a ladder truck and turn the park into a pop-up splash pad for children and families to enjoy.
Officials said waivers must be signed by a parent or guardian before children can participate.
Participants are also asked to wear closed-toe shoes, wear sunscreen and bring water.
The department said the event is designed to help families cool off and enjoy free summer fun.
