

PASCAGOULA, Miss. — A Pascagoula police recruit is being recognized for helping a teenager who was trying to get to work.
According to the Pascagoula Police Department, Recruit Havard stopped to help the teenager after noticing the teen had a flat tire.
The department praised Havard for stepping in and helping when it was needed.
“Great job Recruit Havard! Keep up the great work!” the department said in a social media post.
Police said the moment was an example of officers serving the community beyond emergency calls.
