TIPPAH COUNTY – Tippah County Lake in Ripley will reopen Saturday, May 30, for fishing and boating, according to the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks.
MDWFP said crews have been working to clean and restore the area following damage from Winter Storm Fern in January.
The lake had been temporarily closed because of ongoing cleanup efforts and storm debris removal.
While fishing and boating will resume Saturday, the campground will remain closed as repairs and debris cleanup continue.
