UPDATE: Latoria Sample, AKA, Shanterica Donelson is back in custody. She was found in a vehicle at Woodland apartments. She faces additional escape charges, according to Sheriff Jones.

HINDS COUNTY – The Hinds County Sheriff’s Office is searching for an escaped detainee who fled while being transported to jail.
According to Sheriff Tyree Jones, Latoria Sample, also known as “Shantercia Donelson,” escaped from an HCSO vehicle in the area of Highway 18 and TV Road.
Officials said Sample was last seen wearing a brown jumpsuit in the area of The Woodlands Apartments.
