Jackson State offers numerous summer camps for year-long learning and fun

JACKSON – Parents looking for summer activities for their children while school is out have to look no further than Jackson State University. JSU is offering a variety of summer camps and programs to keep students engaged. Camps will be hosted across several colleges, including the College of Business, College of Education, and the College of Science, Engineering and Technology.

While sign-ups for some camps have ended, many programs are still open and accepting participants. Below is a list of camps being offered at JSU this summer.

College of Science, Engineering and Technology Summer Camps

THEE Aristocrats STEM and Health Sciences Program

  • Date/Time: June 11 – July 29
  • Ages: Incoming first-time freshmen and transfer students from community colleges (16 and up)
  • Registration Deadline: May 20 (or until all slots are filled)
  • Cost: Program covers all fees except out-of-state fees
  • Food/Housing: Summer housing and food provided

Preschool Summer Enrichment Camp

  • Date/Time: June 1 – July 2, Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • Ages: 3-5 years old
  • Registration Deadline: Until all slots are filled (limited slots available)
  • Cost: $25 activity fee, $375 tuition
  • Food/Housing: Food provided
