UPDATE: According to the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office, Jdarius Antwan Douglas, of Tunica, voluntarily turned himself in Tuesday, May 26. He was booked into the Tunica County Jail, with charges pending.

TUNICA COUNTY – A 19-year-old Tunica man is wanted for questioning after two men were found shot to death in a Tunica County subdivision.
According to the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received a 911 call around 7:37 p.m. Sunday, May 24, reporting that someone had hit a tree and appeared to be unresponsive in the White Oak subdivision.
When deputies arrived, they found that both people had been shot.
The victims were identified as 42-year-old Taurean Martez Thomas and 33-year-old David Brown III, both of Tunica. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene by the Tunica County coroner.

Source: Tunica Co. SOThe Tunica County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division has also obtained warrants for Douglas in connection with additional crimes. Authorities said the warrants include two counts of kidnapping, armed robbery, simple assault and shooting into a motor vehicle.
Officials said it has not been confirmed whether those crimes are related to the double homicide investigation. The investigations remain active and ongoing.
