RANKIN COUNTY – Rankin County deputies are searching for a man who ran from the Rankin County Youth Court building shortly after 3 p.m., according to Rankin County Investigator Tyler Burnell.
Burnell said a deputy assigned to Rankin County Youth Court contacted 911 dispatch by police radio and reported that he was in a foot pursuit with a male who was trying to flee the building.
Officials said there is no risk to juveniles at the facility.
Deputies are currently searching an area north of Highway 80.
No additional information was immediately available.
