JACKSON – Cheshire Abbey is celebrating National Rescue Dog Day with a donation drive and pop-up adoption event this weekend.
The rescue is asking the public to donate supplies such as blankets, towels, cleaners, food and treats to help care for its dogs.
Donations may be dropped off in person, called in to Hollywood Feed Jackson or any Hollywood Feed store, or shipped through Amazon using the rescue’s QR code. Monetary donations may also be made through PayPal at [email protected] or Venmo at CheshireAbbey.
Cheshire Abbey will also host a pop-up adoption event from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Hollywood Feed in Highland Village. Attendees can drop off donations and meet adoptable dogs and puppies.
The rescue also encouraged people to share rescue dog stories and photos in honor of National Rescue Dog Day.
