COAHOMA COUNTY – One person was airlifted to a trauma center after a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon in Coahoma County, officials said.

Source: Coahoma Co. FDThe Coahoma County Fire Department said firefighters and Pafford EMS were dispatched at 4:59 p.m. May 17 to the area of Coahoma-Moonlake Road for a reported motorcycle collision.
When emergency crews arrived, they found one person with severe traumatic injuries, according to the fire department.
Firefighters assisted EMS in setting up a landing zone for a medical helicopter. The patient was then flown to a regional trauma center.
