CANTON- The sixth annual Big Sister Community Braiding Bootcamp is scheduled for July 6-8 in Canton.
The three-day event, hosted by Ivy League Designs, will begin at 9 a.m. each day and is open to girls ages 8-16.
Participants will learn multiple braiding techniques, including scalp braids, feed-in braids, knotless styles and precision parting techniques. Organizers said the camp is designed for beginners as well as girls who already have some braiding experience.
Participants are asked to bring their own mannequin head and stand, preferably a standing one.
Registration is $25, and spots are limited. The exact location in Canton will be announced later.
