TUPELO – A Tupelo man has been charged with aggravated domestic violence after police investigated a reported domestic assault.
The Tupelo Police Department said officers responded April 22 to North Parc Circle in reference to a previous domestic assault.
When officers arrived, they were told the victim had been assaulted by their estranged spouse, according to police.
After further investigation, Terry W. Richey II, 39, of Tupelo, was arrested May 13 and charged with one count of aggravated domestic violence.
Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen ordered Richey held on a $25,000 bond.
The case will be presented to the Lee County grand jury.
