Good morning! We’re settling into a really nice stretch of weather across Mississippi, with warm temperatures, lots of sunshine and very little chance for rain through the rest of the week.
Today will be sunny with a high around 83 degrees and light northeast winds at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Humidity stays fairly comfortable this afternoon, and rain chances are almost nonexistent at just 2 percent. Tonight will be partly cloudy and pleasant, with lows dipping to around 59 degrees.
Looking ahead, temperatures will continue to warm under mostly sunny to sunny skies. Highs will generally stay in the low to mid-80s for the next few days before some areas start pushing close to 90 degrees by late week. Overnight lows will also trend warmer heading into the weekend and into next week.
The good news is the dry pattern is expected to hold through the weekend, with the next meaningful rain chances likely holding off until early next week. So if you’ve got outdoor plans, it’s shaping up to be a great stretch of weather to enjoy.
