LINCOLN COUNTY — A 40-year-old man from Ruth was killed Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Lincoln County, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
Troopers responded to the crash around 8 a.m. on May 1 on Highway 84.
Authorities said Jeffery Grimes was driving a 2015 Volkswagen Passat north on East Lincoln Road when his vehicle collided with a 2016 Ford F-150 traveling east on Highway 84. The pickup was driven by 30-year-old Alexis Bass of Natchez.
Grimes suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
No additional injuries were immediately reported.
The crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
