GLUCKSTADT — The city of Gluckstadt has launched an online silent auction fundraiser featuring donations from local businesses, with proceeds benefiting the Gluckstadt Police Department and its officers.
Bidding is open now through Friday, with organizers encouraging community members to participate in support of the men and women of the police department.
Auction items include gift cards, wellness services, jewelry, restaurant certificates, home improvement packages and fitness memberships donated by local businesses.
Among the featured items are a $200 wellness services package from Rest Recovery of Gluckstadt, a quartz vanity countertop package from Premier Stone, a one-month membership to CrossFit 601 and gift certificates to local restaurants and shops, including Filo’s, Twisted Turnip and Olivia’s Food Emporium.
Other offerings include a deluxe hydrofacial package from MAD Esthetics, Ray-Ban sunglasses from Professional Eyecare Associates and carpet cleaning services from R & R Cleaning.
Officials said every bid supports the department, with the fundraiser relying on contributions from area businesses and community participation.
The online auction closes May 1.
