Downtown Unlocked Real Estate Showcase Set for Saturday in Natchez

NATCHEZ — Community leaders, business owners and prospective investors will gather Saturday for the 2026 Downtown Unlocked Real Estate Showcase, an event focused on economic development and opportunities in downtown Natchez.

The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. with registration and a reception featuring complimentary coffee, pastries and mimosas, followed by recognition of local “Partners in Progress” at 9 a.m.

The keynote address is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. and will feature Rachael Carter, a specialist in community and economic development with the Mississippi State University Center for Government and Community Development.

Carter’s presentation, “Unlocking Downtown Business Potential,” will focus on market opportunities in downtown Natchez, organizers said.

Following the keynote, attendees can participate in “Possibility Tours” from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., beginning at 326 Main Street. The tours will offer three options: a guided historic downtown tour led by Carter Burns, an economic opportunity tour led by Carter, and a self-guided option.

Transportation assistance will be available for those who need it, organizers said.

The showcase is supported by several sponsors, including the Community Foundation for Mississippi, Concordia Bank & Trust Co., Bank of Franklin, Delta Bank and United Mississippi Bank, along with other community and in-kind partners.

Organizers said the event is designed to highlight investment opportunities and support continued revitalization efforts in downtown Natchez.
