Goods said the program is aimed at helping people affected by COVID-19 get back on their feet.
According to the sheriff’s office, opportunities are available for people ages 16 to 70, with both part-time and full-time positions offered for those who qualify.
The program includes job placement, job retention assistance, career counseling and support for people impacted by long COVID.
Applications will be available starting Tuesday at the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office, according to Goods.
“This is about taking care of our people and making sure nobody gets left behind,” Goods said in a statement. “We’re working with and for the people—bringing resources directly into our community.”
The sheriff encouraged anyone interested to stop by, apply and take the next step toward employment.
