JACKSON – Mississippi Blood Services is asking the public to donate after reporting a critically low blood supply.
The organization said A-negative, O-negative and B-negative blood types are especially needed.
Officials urged eligible donors to give as soon as possible, saying each donation can help save lives.
Donation centers are located at 115 Tree St. in Flowood, 609 N. Davis Ave., Suite 101B, in Cleveland, and 2627 W. Oxford Loop, Suite C, in Oxford.
Mississippi Blood Services is asking donors to bring a photo ID, eat well before donating and stay hydrated.
