JACKSON — Jackson Public Schools (JPS) brings school registration and employee recruitment together in one convenient location for families and job seekers across the community.
The district will host its Districtwide Showcase: Enrollment & Recruitment Fair on Saturday, April 25, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Cardozo Middle School, located at 3180 McDowell Road Extension, Jackson, MS 39204.
This one-stop event is designed to support families and strengthen the district’s workforce. Parents and guardians will have the opportunity to enroll or re-enroll their scholars, meet school leaders and staff, and explore the wide range of academic programs and extracurricular opportunities available throughout JPS.
In addition, individuals interested in joining Team JPS can connect with hiring managers, learn about current job openings, and receive information about career pathways within the district.
“This event reflects our commitment to serving families and building a strong, talented workforce,” said Sherwin Johnson, Executive Director of Public Engagement for Jackson Public Schools. “We are excited to provide a welcoming space where families can access enrollment services and where future employees can discover the many opportunities available in JPS.”
The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are welcome to drop in at any time and enjoy food, refreshments, face painting, raffle prizes, and live entertainment.
