JACKSON COUNTY — Two men have been charged in connection with a commercial burglary that left about $13,000 worth of equipment stolen from a construction site, authorities said.
Jackson County Sheriff John Ledbetter said deputies responded around 8 a.m. Sunday, April 13, to a reported burglary at Chris Albritton Construction on Wade Vancleave Road near the Roy Cumbest Bridge. Investigators determined a construction trailer had been broken into and equipment taken.
