GEORGE COUNTY – An 18-year-old bicyclist was killed Friday night in a crash on Highway 26 in George County, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened at about 8:15 p.m. April 17.
Authorities said a 2021 Ford Explorer driven by 23-year-old Laural Hunt of Perkinston was traveling west on Highway 26 when it collided with 18-year-old Tyree Bradley of McLain, who was riding a bicycle on the highway.
Bradley was pronounced dead at the scene, according to MHP.
Hunt was not injured in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
