JACKSON – The Salvation Army Jackson Metro Area is asking the community to donate pantry staples to help support families in need.
The organization said its food pantry is in need of everyday essentials, including rice, noodles, peanut butter, canned meat, tomato sauce, granola bars and other nonperishable items.
Donations can be dropped off at 110 Presto Lane in Jackson, according to The Salvation Army.
The organization said every donation helps it continue serving and feeding people in the community.
