OXFORD — A Jackson man was arrested this week following an investigation into reported harassing text messages, according to the Oxford Police Department.
Police said a walk-in report was filed March 25 regarding the messages. After an investigation by a department detective, a warrant was issued for Aaron Anderson, 43, of Jackson.
On April 9, Anderson was transported from the Madison County Sheriff’s Office to the Lafayette County Detention Center.
Anderson was taken before a Municipal Court judge for an initial bond hearing, police said.
