FORREST COUNTY – The Forrest County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an assault on a deputy that occurred during the early morning hours of Sunday, March 29.

Source: Forrest Co. SOAccording to the sheriff’s office, multiple individuals have been identified as being involved in the incident and are wanted for questioning as the investigation continues.
Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating those involved. Anyone with information about the identities or whereabouts of the individuals is asked to contact the Forrest County Sheriff’s Office at 601-544-7800.
