BILOXI — A Vancleave man has been arrested on felony charges of sexual battery and molestation following an investigation involving a minor, authorities said.
The Biloxi Police Department assisted the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office on March 30, 2026, in arresting Mitchell Linn Dye, 39, on two active felony warrants.
The charges stem from an ongoing investigation in which a 15-year-old reported she was sexually assaulted by Dye in February 2026, according to officials.
Dye made an initial court appearance before Judge Mark Watts, who set bail at $100,000 for each charge, for a total of $200,000.
Authorities have not released additional details about the investigation.
