JACKSON — Jackson police are asking for the public’s help in solving the 2022 fatal shooting of a motorist whose vehicle crashed along Interstate 55.
Authorities said 32-year-old Kion Hughes crashed his vehicle on July 29, 2022, near the I-55 North Frontage Road. Officers responding to the scene determined Hughes had been shot.
The case remains unsolved, and investigators are urging anyone with information to come forward.
The Jackson Police Department is asking anyone with details about the shooting to contact investigators at 601-960-1604 or Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS (8477).
Officials said tips leading to an arrest could result in a reward of up to $2,500, and callers may remain anonymous.
