MADISON COUNTY — The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted in connection with an aggravated assault involving a shooting, authorities said.
Antonio Harris, 31, is wanted after allegedly shooting a victim with a handgun, according to investigators. Deputies described Harris as a Black male, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
Officials urged residents not to approach Harris and to contact law enforcement immediately with any information about his whereabouts.
Authorities said a reward of up to $2,500 may be available for information leading to Harris’ arrest. Tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS (8477) or online through its tip submission service.
No additional details about the shooting or the victim were immediately released. The investigation remains ongoing.
