Police said the combustion level in the area is dangerously high, and no vehicle or foot traffic is being allowed through the area.
Authorities said the school district has been notified so buses can use alternate routes for after-school drop-offs nearby.
Police said the estimated time for the road to reopen is 7 p.m.
