PEARL RIVER COUNTY – A Carriere woman was arrested after deputies said they found methamphetamine and Adderall during a traffic stop earlier this month.
The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department said the stop happened Thursday, March 12, when a deputy with the Patrol Division pulled over a Nissan Pathfinder for careless driving.
Authorities said the driver was identified as Summer Farve, 36, of Carriere. While speaking with Farve, the deputy detected the odor of marijuana, according to the sheriff’s department.
Deputies then conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle and found baggies, a distribution amount of methamphetamine and a distribution amount of Adderall, officials said.
Farve was taken into custody and transported to the Pearl River County Correctional Facility, where she was booked on two counts of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.
Sheriff David Allison said deputies are continuing efforts to keep the community safe.
