JACKSON — Three suspects were arrested Saturday in connection with a string of armed robberies, aggravated assaults and home invasions across Jackson, police said.
The arrests came March 21 after officers with Capitol Police stopped a black Honda Accord on State Street near Beasley Road. The vehicle had been identified in a “be on the lookout” alert issued by the Jackson Police Department tied to multiple violent crimes reported over several days.
Investigators believe the suspects were responsible for at least three robberies, including two incidents involving four Hispanic male victims and another involving two Indian victims in Precincts 1 and 2. Authorities also suspect the group may be linked to additional robberies involving Hispanic victims that remain under investigation.
The occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody and later interviewed by detectives. All three appeared before a municipal court judge and were each issued a $6 million bond.
Daja Logan, 23, was charged with two counts each of armed robbery, conspiracy, home invasion, aggravated assault, accessory before the fact and accessory after the fact.
Curtavious Simpson, 34, faces four counts of armed robbery, three counts of aggravated assault and two counts of home invasion.
Graig Bradley, 27, was charged with four counts of armed robbery, three counts of aggravated assault and two counts of home invasion.
The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Jackson Police Department at 601-960-1234 or Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS.
