ADAMS COUNTY — A Natchez man was killed late Sunday night after being struck by a vehicle on U.S. Highway 61, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 10:45 p.m. March 22 when a 2019 Dodge Charger traveling southbound collided with a pedestrian who was also walking south along the highway.
Authorities identified the victim as 29-year-old Devon Harper of Natchez. He sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle, 24-year-old Elijah Marsaw of Vidalia, Louisiana, was not reported injured.
The crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
