Playground in Jackson nominated for USA TODAY 10Best public playground award

JACKSON – LeFleur’s Bluff Playground in Jackson has been nominated for USA TODAY’s 10Best Public Playgrounds.

Located at the LeFleur’s Bluff Education and Tourism Complex, the playground sits on a shared campus with the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science and the Mississippi Children’s Museum. Officials said the playground is designed to be highly inclusive and features dozens of play activities for visitors.

The playground was made possible through support from the Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi Foundation, which officials said played a key role in helping bring the complex to life and supporting the health and well-being of visitors.

Supporters can vote for LeFleur’s Bluff Playground once a day through April 6.
