COPIAH COUNTY – A Clinton woman died Wednesday in a one-vehicle crash in Copiah County, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
Troopers responded to the crash at about 11:08 a.m. on March 18 on Mississippi 27 near Baldwin Lane.
Authorities said a 2009 Toyota Sienna driven by 50-year-old Tonya Gonzales was traveling north on Highway 27 when it ran off the roadway and struck a roadside ditch.
Gonzales suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
