ADAMS COUNTY – Deputies with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office responded early Thursday morning to a single-vehicle crash after a car struck a fallen tree blocking the roadway.
The crash occurred around 5:45 a.m. March 12 in the 700 block of Old Highway 84 near 779 Old Highway 84 #3, according to the sheriff’s office.

Source: Adams Co. SOAuthorities said a 911 caller reported that a vehicle had collided with a tree that had fallen across the road. When deputies arrived, they found a black Nissan sedan that had struck the tree, which was blocking the roadway.
Officials said the impact caused significant damage to the front of the vehicle.
Deputies secured the scene while the Adams County Road Department responded to remove the fallen tree. The roadway has since been cleared and reopened to normal traffic.
Officials said no additional information about injuries was available at the time of the report.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office reminded motorists to use caution when traveling, especially during overnight and early morning hours when fallen limbs or trees may be present following storms or high winds.
