VICKSBURG – Three juveniles have been charged as adults in connection with a shooting that occurred March 5 in Vicksburg, according to the Vicksburg Police Department.
Police said the shooting happened at the intersection of Randolph Street and Locust Street. No injuries were reported.
Following an investigation, officers identified three juvenile suspects who were taken into custody. The suspects appeared in court March 6, where they were adjudicated and charged as adults.
Authorities identified the suspects as Zion Pierce, 16, and Brian Bell, 16, both charged with aggravated assault. Each received a $600,000 bond.
Kaiden Knight, 15, was charged with aggravated assault and shooting into a motor vehicle. His bond was set at $550,000.
Police said the investigation remains active and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
