JACKSON – Jackson police have arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred early Monday morning.
According to the Jackson Police Department, homicide detectives identified 42-year-old Patrick Harris as the suspect in the shooting death of 27-year-old Anthony Watts.
Police said Watts was shot and killed earlier today in the 600 block of Northpointe Parkway.
Harris was arrested later that morning and charged with murder, aggravated assault and shooting into an occupied vehicle. He was booked into the Jackson Police Department holding facility and is awaiting his initial appearance in Municipal Court.
Jackson Police said the investigation remains ongoing.
