JACKSON — State Farm’s Board of Directors has approved a cash-back dividend for eligible private passenger auto policies. Mississippi policyholders who had an active policy as of December 31, 2025, will receive a share of more than $70.5 million, averaging about $124 per vehicle.
“This announcement is welcome news for Mississippi drivers. Returning millions of dollars directly to policyholders, on top of meaningful rate reductions, translates into real relief for consumers. Actions like this help stabilize the auto insurance market while ensuring companies remain financially sound and able to meet their long-term obligations to policyholders,” said Mississippi Insurance Commissioner Mike Chaney.
Nationally, State Farm Mutual has announced $5 billion in cash back to auto consumers, the largest dividend in company history. Distributions begin this summer.
