JACKSON – A man was injured in a house fire in Jackson, according to Chief Felton.
The fire broke out at 641 Daniel Circle and fire units responded around 8:09 a.m.
When firefighters arrived on scene, they said they saw smoke and flames coming from the structure.
Fire units said there was a person standing outside of the structure when they arrived.
The occupant had minor burns to both hands and was transported to a local hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
This fire was caused as as a result of combustibles being too close to a heater.
The cause of the fire was deemed accidental.
