JACKSON – A 78-year-old woman lost her life in a house fire in Jackson Monday evening.
According to Hinds County Coroner Jeramiah Howard, she was identified as Antoinette Sekul.
The fire broke out at a home on Ferncrest Drive. He received a call at 5:34 p.m.
The victim is described as a 78-year-old female who lived at the address. The Jackson Fire Department is working to determine the cause of teh fire.
The coroner will release her identity once other friends and family are notified.
