ADAMS COUNTY – A second suspect has been arrested in an ongoing investigation into the theft and recovery of an all-terrain vehicle from property on Scheffel Road, according to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff’s officials said Jerry W. Rodgers Jr., 49, of Natchez, was taken into custody Friday, Feb. 20, 2026, at about 7:54 a.m. He was charged with receiving, possessing, or disposing of stolen property.
Rodgers was booked into the Adams County Jail, and bond was set at $60,000.
Authorities said the arrest follows the recovery of the stolen ATV and the earlier arrest of Amanda Breland on related charges. Investigators said the case remains active and additional arrests are possible.
