GREENVILLE – A Greenville woman has been charged after police said a man was shot during a domestic dispute Tuesday at Riverwalk Apartments.
Officers with the Greenville Police Department responded Feb. 17 to a report of a shooting at 738 W. Union St., police said. When officers arrived, they made contact with a female inside the residence, who told them a male victim was in the bathroom with a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to Delta Health System for treatment. Police said additional details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
Investigators charged 28-year-old Larineisha Askew of Greenville with one count of domestic aggravated assault. She is awaiting her initial appearance, police said.
All suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
