TUPELO – Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi and the Tupelo Police Department are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in a false pretense case involving the theft of jewelry from a Tupelo Walmart.
Source: CrimestoppersAccording to investigators, the incident occurred Feb. 11, 2026, at about 1:25 p.m. at Walmart, 2270 W. Main St. Police said two unknown men entered the store and went to the jewelry section, where they concealed multiple jewelry items.
Authorities said the suspects then left the store without paying. The total value of the stolen merchandise exceeded $5,000, according to Crime Stoppers.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi at 800-773-TIPS (8477) or submit an anonymous tip through the P3 Tips app. Crime Stoppers said tips that lead to an arrest could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
