FULTON — A woman was arrested Thursday during a safety checkpoint in Fulton and charged with multiple felony drug offenses and child endangerment, authorities said.
Amy Lauren Tillotson was taken into custody Feb. 12 during a checkpoint on Country Club Road within the city limits of Fulton. The arrest was made by the Fulton Police Department, with assistance from the Itawamba County Sheriff’s Department and the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit.
Tillotson was charged with felony possession of fentanyl, felony possession of cocaine and felony tampering with physical evidence, along with several misdemeanor charges. She was also charged with felony child endangerment stemming from a previous investigation.
Authorities said the arrest is part of an ongoing investigation conducted by the Fulton Police Department and Mississippi Child Protection Services.
