NATCHEZ — Deputies with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Jackson Police Department on Thursday in executing a bench warrant and search warrant tied to a homicide investigation.
The warrants were served shortly after 10 a.m. at the Kenny Graves Apartments on Ingram Circle in Adams County, according to the sheriff’s office.

Source: Adams Co. SODuring the operation, officers arrested Tatyana Shardee Johnson, who was wanted by Jackson police on a murder charge.
Officials said the arrest and search were completed without incident, and no injuries were reported.
After her arrest, Johnson was transferred to Jackson police custody, where she is expected to be formally booked and await an initial court appearance and arraignment.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office said it will continue coordinating with partner agencies in violent crime investigations.
All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
