JACKSON – Jackson Public Schools said it is mourning the death of Murrah High School senior Kimari Skinner and has made counseling support available for students and staff.
In a statement, the district expressed condolences to Skinner’s family and said the Murrah school community is grieving the loss.
JPS asked the community to keep Skinner’s family and friends in their thoughts.
The district said counseling services will be available in the coming days for Murrah scholars and employees.
