JACKSON — A woman has been arrested after authorities say she made a telephone threat warning of a possible shooting at Hillcrest Christian School.
According to investigators, the school received a call Feb. 4, 2026, from an individual who stated there would be a “massacre shooting” at the campus that day.
Based on phone records tracing the origin of the call, the circumstances surrounding the threat and statements gathered during the investigation, police determined there was probable cause to charge 38-year-old Abbey Nicole Taylor with making terroristic threats.
Taylor was arrested and transported to city holding, where she was booked.
On Thursday morning, Taylor appeared before a municipal court judge, who set her bond at $75,000.
No injuries or incidents occurred at the school in connection with the threat. Authorities have not released additional details about a possible motive.
