JACKSON — Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch on Thursday announced the launch of a new free mobile app designed to connect residents with key resources and services offered through the Attorney General’s Office.
The app, called AGO in Action allows users to locate free naloxone across the state, report robocalls and scams, learn about consumer protection issues, and stay informed about initiatives led by the Attorney General’s Office.
“AGO in Action is about meeting people where they are and making sure they have access to the resources they need, when they need them,” Fitch said in a statement. “Whether someone is looking for naloxone, reporting robocalls, or seeking information on an Attorney General’s Office initiative, our new app puts information right at their fingertips.”
According to the Attorney General’s Office, the app includes tools to help consumers identify and avoid scams, stop unwanted robocalls, and access resources aimed at protecting families in an increasingly digital environment.
One of the app’s key features is a statewide locator for free naloxone, a medication used to reverse opioid overdoses involving substances such as heroin and fentanyl. Users can search for locations where naloxone is available at no cost.
The app also includes a dedicated section for law enforcement, providing access to upcoming trainings hosted by the Attorney General’s Office, domestic violence and human trafficking reference guides, and the state’s Domestic Violence and Protection Order registries.
Officials said the AGO in Action app is intended to serve as a one-stop resource for Mississippians, offering quick access to public safety tools, consumer protection information, and updates on trainings, summits, and public events hosted by the Attorney General’s Office.
The app is available for free download on both Apple and Android devices.
