TATE COUNTY — The Tate County Sheriff’s Office is thanking a local man who helped clear ice to allow an ambulance to safely leave its station during hazardous winter conditions.
Source: Tate Co. SOIn a statement, the sheriff’s office said the man stepped in to remove ice near the station’s exit, helping ensure emergency medical personnel could get out and respond without delay.
Officials praised the quick assistance, saying it made a “real difference” at a critical moment as icy roads continued to create dangerous conditions across the area.
The sheriff’s office urged residents to continue taking precautions in the cold weather and to stay warm and safe.
